Eric Royer has performed as Royer’s One-Man Band since 1993. After building his one-of-a-kind, self-made mechanical contraption—The Guitar Machine—in Tucson, AZ, he has recorded and toured extensively. The device allows him to play acoustic guitar, bass, and drums with his feet while picking banjo with his hands, singing, and playing harmonica. No looping or digital effects involved.

Royer won a Boston Music Award for Best Roots Act as the banjo player in his band The Resophonics, and he has played and recorded with many local bluegrass bands.
